The Toro-born Kiko Calvo travelled around the world working in wineries before returning home to make his artisan, small production "rebellious" wine from his great-grandfather's vineyards. A very different TORO. Less oak, less extract, more freshness.

100% Tinta de Toro under the D.O. Toro. The vines are between 40 and 60 years old, well established and mature enough to produce exceptional quality fruit. The soils are made of loose sandstone with a good portion of river stone, limestone, and some clay seams at different elevations. Aged for 10 months in a variety of oak barrels.
