Propeller’s Solution.

Propeller charges its clients a retainer for representation in the UK, in return we handle their logistics, sales, billing and marketing, leveraging our relationships to sell to Independent wine shops, National and Regional wholesalers, hospitality and airlines.

Market & Opportunity.

Independent Wine Shops (Indies) represent 8% of the UK wine market. They have been rapidly gaining market share since 2015 (up 24%), eating away at the supermarkets’ 80% chunk of the market. This growth has been accelerated by the Coronavirus Pandemic as customers embraced provenance over price, as well the desire to support local businesses. Propeller also works with a growing number of Regional Wholesalers, providing access to the UK's top HORECA businesses, which account for a further 12% of the UK wine market.

Cost.

We will create a detailed proposal for you but as a guide, our prices start at £500 per wine per month. This includes all importation admin, the full sales function, and a comprehensive marketing resource – and of course, every bottle sold reduces that cost.

Discounts are available for larger ranges and we can accommodate multiple producers under a single initiative as long as one entity acts as the commercial co-ordinator.
