For over 20 years, Nicola Thornton, originally from Sheffield, has created an amazing network of farmers and winemakers throughout Spain. Many of those growers felt disgruntled about being taken advantage of by larger producers and weren’t getting paid decent wages for their crops.

  • Rueda

    60+ year old bush vines, planted in limestone rich, pebbly soils, cool ferment, no oak. Crisp, highly aromatic with intense lime and tropical notes.

  • Toro

    Equal parts Antão Vaz, Verdelho, Vermentino & Viognier, stainless steel ferment. Intriguing waxy, pollen nose with notes of honeydew melon. Palate is rich and textural but pitch-perfect acidity keeps it in check. Totally delicious.

  • Jumilla

    60+ year old, ungrafted Monastrell bush vines, 4 months in French oak. Intense purple/violet colour, dark fruit & balsamic notes, plump fruit flavours, mineral hints, very long.

  • Almansa

    70+ year old vines, 4 months in French oak (15% new). Deeply coloured wine from one of the few red-fleshed varieties, packed with smoky wild berry flavours.

  • Rosado

    60+ year old bush vines, 720m above sea level, hand harvested. Deep pink. Dried strawberry and cracked pepper aromatics. Vanilla-tinged, textural and juicy.

  • Leon

    50-65 year old vines, 4 months in French and American oak (15% new). Bright garnet red, intense redcurrant aromas, plenty of acidity and pronounced tannins.
