Cala Falcone started by Angus Walton, with the goal of creating Italy’s first premium rosato and providing a luxury alternative to Provence. Angus has had a lifelong love affair with Puglia, so there was only ever going to be one origin story for this project.

    A cool fermentation precedes 6 months’ ageing in steel, resulting in Cala Falcone’s characterisitic golden tinge. The underyling pink is a touch deeper than your typical Provencal offering, and the flavours are a study in rose petal, redcarrant, wild strawberry and thyme.
