Maurzio’s grandfather emigrated from Italy after World War I and arrived in Valpariso at the age of 16 with little more than his wits to sustain him. In the ensuing years he established a number of businesses before buying a vineyard in Colchagua.

  • Sauvignon Blanc

    Vineyard is 18.5km from the coast, something that’s significantly reflected in the wine’s aromatic profile. The Vines are grown in shallow topsoil above weathered granite hillside. After hand harvesting the grapes the wine split into 70% fermented in stainless steel, 30% fermented in French oak, with 11 months on lees. This wine has an aging potential of at least 6 years.

  • Malbec / Syrah / Durif

    Vineyard is 41km from the coast at an altitude of 800m on a weathered granite hillside. It’s a composition of 56% Malbec, 36% Syrah, and 8% Durif. Before bottling, the wine is aged for 20 months in French oak, followed by a further two years in bottle before release. This wine has an aging potential of at least 12 years. imporim librui iris we
