Founded by friends Sven Bruchfield & Gonzalo Munoz in 2002 after they had both travelled widely around Europe studying winemaking, intending to establish their property.

  • Malbec

A87% Malbec, 13% Syrah. Vines are dry farmed to create stress on the vines and subsequently grow rich, concentrated bunches of grapes. This type of farming also minimalizes intervention and excess water dependency. Grapes are hand harvested where they are selected based on quality and crushed and then undergo 3-4 days old cold soaking to extract flavor and aromas from the grapes and improve the overall quality of the wine.

  • Random

In addition to Syrah a number of other varieties were planted in 2002. These are often used to supply other wineries but by 2015 Sven and Gonzalo realised that their quality was to high to sell entirely so they started to make an annually changing blend of the best performing parcels. The 2017 is 45% Syrah, 30% Malbec, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Grenache, 2% Tempranillo and 2% Petit Verdot – but not vintage is ever the same, hence the name. Just 1,400 cases produced, no stabilisation, fining or filtration
